Overnight Oats

Chef’s secret to creamy (not watery) overnight oats: use the golden ratio, add a thickener (chia), and let it sit at least 6 hours. Wake up to breakfast done.

Base Recipe (1 Jar)

  • ½ cup rolled oats not instant
  • ½ cup milk of choice (dairy or almond/oat)
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (or more milk)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds thickens
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt (makes flavors pop)

Want thicker oats? Use a little more chia or reduce milk by 2 tbsp.

    In a jar, add oats, milk, yogurt, chia, sweetener, vanilla, and salt. Stir well (no dry pockets).

    Cover and refrigerate 6–12 hours. Oats absorb + chia thickens into creamy goodness.

    Finish

    Stir in the morning. Add a splash of milk if needed. Top and enjoy cold (or microwave 30–45 sec).

  • Strawberry Cheesecake: add 1 tbsp cream cheese (or extra yogurt) + diced strawberries + graham crumbs.
  • PB Chocolate: stir in 1 tbsp peanut butter + 1 tsp cocoa + chocolate chips on top.
